Todd Payten knows this is a danger game for his side.

Still hurting after last weeks defeat to the Warriors in a match he described as the most frustrating loss of his coaching career, Payten will not accept complacency in any form when Wests Tigers tackle Manly at Campbelltown Sports Stadium tomorrow night in round 20 of the Holden Cup.

We are desperate to turn our fortunes around. Manly are down the wrong end of the table but they beat us away in Gosford in round 4, Payten said.

They beat us through the middle and out enthused us across the park.

Clint Gutherson at fullback is class and up front they are led by Jake Trbojevic who gets them rolling and has a huge motor for a front rower.

Two consecutive losses to Cronulla and the Warriors have seen Wests Tigers slip to seventh place. A win tomorrow will only move them up one position on the competition ladder but more importantly, three points behind fifth placed Canterbury.

The importance of the match was also not lost on full-back Mitchell Moses.

We could have jumped into the top four last week had we won last week. We let that game slip away, Moses said.

The loss almost dropped us out of the eight. This is a crucial game.

Kick-off is 4.45pm.
