Wests Tigers NRL Head Coach Jason Taylor says his side is ready for their biggest test yet on Friday night when they take on the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium.

Despite already facing the defending premiers and runners-up in three of their eight games to start 2015, Taylor is adamant that the Roosters — boosted by the return of Aidan Guerra and Mitchell Aubusson — will be his side's biggest test yet this season.

"Typically they've been defending really well," said Taylor earlier today. "They're up the top of the competition in defence so that means we're in for a really tough game.

"We've got to match their defensive efforts on the night in what we do.

"If we don't do that, they'll get the win they're looking for.

"I'm confident that we'll be playing a desperate team and a team that will work really hard.

"Their defence has been great, and so, it'll be a tough game for us.

"I think this is going to be our biggest test of the season so far.
