An incredible 15 Wests Tigers players took to the field throughout the weekend for representative round with all delivering strong performances and results.

DOWNER TEST MATCH — Australia 16 def. New Zealand 0

Wests Tigers Players Involved: Nil

The Holden Kangaroos ended their three-game losing run by keeping a terribly flat New Zealand outfit scoreless in their 16-0 win at Hunter Stadium on Friday evening. First half tries to outside backs Darius Boyd and Greg Inglis proved enough to secure a Kangaroos win against an otherwise rudderless New Zealand outfit, which failed to score a single point in the end.

JUNIOR TEST — Junior Kangaroos 34 def. Junior Kiwis 20

Players Involved: JJ Felise (Kangaroos), Junior Tatola (Kangaroos), Esan Marsters (Kiwis)

The Junior Kangaroos made it back-to-back wins over the Junior Kiwis with a convincing 34-20 victory at Pirtek Stadium, Parramatta, to kick off Saturday's festival of footy.

PACIFIC TEST — Papua New Guinea 24 def. Fiji Bati 22

Players Involved: Rod Griffin (Papua New Guinea)

Papua New Guinea has provided rugby league with a feel-good story of the year after they stormed home to beat Fiji 24-22 in a thriller on Saturday. Fiji led 16-8 at the break but had no answers for a PNG side that helped breathe fresh air into the international game.

PACIFIC TEST — Toa Samoa 18 def. Mate Ma'a Tonga 6

Players Involved: Tim Simona (Samoa), Sauaso Sue (Samoa)

A raucous Pirtek Stadium crowd witnessed a special night of rugby league as Samoa held on to beat Tonga 18-6 in a thoroughly entertaining encounter on Saturday night. 

Played in front of 15,225 passionate fans, the two Pacific nations put on a cracking show to cap off what had been an incredible festival of representative footy.

RESIDENTS GAME — NSW Residents 30 def. QLD Residents 16

Players Involved: Josh Drinkwater, Elijah Taylor, Justin Hunt, Asipeli Fine (all NSW)

NSW registered a commanding 30-16 victory over QLD in Sunday's Residents clash at Langlands Park in Brisbane. QLD started the match very flat and NSW capitalised, leading from start to finish in what was the first win for the side in this fixture since 2013. 

All four Wests Tigers players were heavily involved in the match, with Josh Drinkwater taking out the Man of the Match award following his two try-assists and a try as well, while Justin Hunt (two try-assists) and Asipeli Fine (one try) also made the stat-sheet.

CITY V COUNTRY — City Origin 44 def. Country Origin 30

Players Involved: Chris Lawrence, Curtis Sironen, David Nofoaluma, Kyle Lovett (all City)

City Origin winger Aaron Gray scored four tries as his side claimed an emphatic upset victory over Country Origin at Scully Park in Tamworth on Sunday afternoon.

Led by Wests Tigers forward Chris Lawrence, City Origin led at half-time and blew their opponents away in the second half before emerging with an eventual 14-point victory.
