Wests Tigers can provide the following Chemist Warehouse injury update with the start of the 2017 NRL season just three weeks away.

Luke Brooks has been withdrawn from tomorrow’s night trial match against St George Illawarra with hamstring tightness, however the halfback is hopeful of being available for next Friday night’s trial against North Queensland.

Young hooker Jacob Liddle suffered a shoulder injury at training and is expected to miss both trial matches, however Club medical staff are aiming to have him fit for either round one or two.

Prop forward Taniela Paseka will sit this weekend out with a shoulder injury, however the 19-year-old is likely to be available for next weekend’s trial games.

In positive injury news, Matt Ballin is back in full contact training and is on track to return in the opening rounds of the 2017 season.

Bayley Sironen will return to the field this weekend after a lengthy stint on the sideline with a shoulder injury, with the backrower set to take on the Dragons in Wollongong.

Junior Tatola will also make his return this weekend with the Intrust Super Premiership after a lengthy stint on the sideline with an ankle injury.

Ryland Jacobs had off-season arthroscopic surgery on his knee and will be available for selection in Round 1.
