Wests Tigers have continued their strong start to season 2018 with an unlikely win over the Melbourne Storm at AAMI Park in Billy Slater's 300th game.
Despite an 18-8 penalty count against them, Ivan Cleary's side found a way to stay in the fight against a more fancied opponent before striking late to win the match — just as they did last week!
The result capped off a great day for Wests Tigers with the club's Intrust Super Premiership side, Western Suburbs Magpies, also fighting back from 16-0 down to keep their unbeaten start to the year going while the club's Tarsha Gale side continued their incredible unbeaten run with a huge win over Canberra.
Round 3 will see Wests Tigers take on the Brisbane Broncos at Campbelltown on Friday night, with the Jersey Flegg and Intrust Super Premiership sides facing the Sydney Roosters feeder teams on Saturday.
