After securing his first win in Wests Tigers colours, fullback Moses Mbye says he feels he's settling in well to his new surroundings with the best still yet to come.

Having played 94 games with the Bulldogs before his mid-season switch, the 24-year-old felt that his transition to Wests Tigers system has been smooth, and credited Coach Ivan Cleary in making that happen.

"Ivan's just given me a job to do and he expects me to do that," Mbye said.

"We've both been pretty happy with how we've started since I've been at the club.

"I feel like I'm growing each week and getting to know the boys and once we spend a lot more time together as a group, I think we're only going to get better.

"It's really exciting times for us," he said.

"I'm really enjoying my time here and it's been real fun."

Both on and off the field, Mbye can see the difference in the playing squad under Cleary.

"I'm really enjoying my time here and I'm looking forward to my tenure here," he said.

"The biggest thing is that everyone is on an even playing field. It doesn't matter whether you've played 100 games or are on debut and I think it comes down to a lot of hard work from the admin to get there."

"There's no real cliques. I've noticed that everyone really enjoys each other's company, and I think that's made it a lot easier for me to get to know everyone — it's a really good club."
