NRL Team Update: Round 1

Wests Tigers Head Coach Michael Maguire has confirmed an unchanged lineup as his side prepare for the first game of the 2019 NRL season tomorrow afternoon at Leichhardt Oval.

Kickoff for the match is at 5:30pm AEDT as Wests Tigers take on the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, looking for their fifth consecutive Round 1 victory.

After naming a 21-man squad on Tuesday, Maguire has confirmed no changes as yet to the side with Chris McQueen and Jacob Liddle dropping out. Both players will feature for the club's Canterbury Cup side in their match on Saturday.

Josh Reynolds and Matt Eisenhuth remain in the squad as reserves.

Wests Tigers' Round 1 team will see three club debutants take to the field — Robert Jennings, Paul Momirovski and Ryan Matterson — while Keebra Park junior Thomas Mikaele will make his first-grade debut after being named on the bench.

Final team lists for both sides will be updated one hour prior to kickoff.
