Wests Tigers hooker Robbie Farah has been named the Man of the Match from his side's strong Round 1 win over the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Leichhardt Oval.

Playing the full 80 minutes in the middle, Farah was at the heart of everything for Wests Tigers — sparking a second half flurry of points to ensure victory.

The 35-year-old finished the game with two tries (his first double in eight years), one linebreak, one linebreak assist, 44 metres and 45 tackles to his name, while also forcing Wests Tigers on the attack with a number of key kicks in the game.

After picking up all three Dally M points in the win, Farah will be determined to help his side go back-to-back this Sunday when they take on the top-of-the-table New Zealand Warriors in the final game of the round at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
