Around the Grounds: Round 11

Penrith have consolidated their spot on top of the Telstra Premiership ladder after another gritty win on Sunday afternoon football, while Parramatta and Melbourne's wins see the trio open up a mini gap back to the rest of the competition with a host of teams chasing.

Newcastle's loss to the Bulldogs saw them miss the chance to jump back in to the top four, while wins for Canberra, Cronulla and Manly-Warringah means there's now just four points separating the Roosters in fourth and the Rabbitohs in tenth.
