Wests Tigers have further entrenched themselves in the South West Sydney community as anticipation ramps up for the club's first trial game of the 2021 season at Kirkham Oval in Camden.

With three grades of footy shaping up for a perfect afternoon at the picturesque suburban ground, Wests Tigers continued to highlight its presence in the South West region with a range of community and football programs.

On Thursday, the entire playing squad hit the road to visit over 10,000 students across the Southern Highlands, Liverpool, Macarthur and Camden areas — visiting over 60 schools in the annual Community Blitz that continues to attract further interest each and every year. Players from the club's NRL, Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership and Wheelchair Rugby side helped run health and wellbeing interactive presentations and rugby league clinics across the schools on the day with the theme of the day for Wests Tigers to inspire health and wellbeing.

Friday will see the on-field preparations for the club's first trial game finalised at Campbelltown Sports Stadium while those not involved in the game undergoing a full training and recovery program in the region throughout the day.

Wests Tigers entire administrative and football staff will work in the South West ahead of the highly-anticipated first trial match of the 2021 campaign the following night — not the first time Kirkham Oval has played host to an NRL trial.

Wests Tigers new recruits Daine Laurie, Stefano Utoikamanu and Tuki Simpkins will headline a number of young talents set to take on the Sydney Roosters in the trial, with a 33-man squad in total set to feature on the night.

Hosted in Wests Tigers heartland at Kirkham Oval, entry is free for all patrons with gates opening at approximately 3:00pm AEDT. Wests Tigers Members and fans encouraged to head along and cheer on the club’s respective teams, with a capacity crowd of 3,000 seeing patrons provided access on a first-in, first-served basis.
