Judiciary Report: Round 9
Gold Coast Titans forward David Fifita is set to miss Magic Round for his careless high tackle on Wests Tigers five-eighth Adam Doueihi during the Round 9 clash at Campbelltown Stadium.
Fifita was sent to the sin bin for the final moments of the match and has been handed a grade 2 charge, which will see him suspended for two weeks.
Titans teammate Tyrone Peachey was charged with dangerous contact on Wests Tigers forward Joe Ofahengaue but escaped a suspension with a $1150 fine.
James Tamou was the only Wests Tigers player charged from the game as he received a $1150 fine for a dangerous contact offence on Titans winger Anthony Don.
Parramatta Eels will be without two of their players in the coming rounds with five-eighth Dylan Brown to miss three weeks, while forward Marata Niukore will be sidelined for two games.
Brown was suspended for sliding in with the knee on Roosters five-eighth Drew Hutchinson, while Niukore was charged with a high tackle on fullback James Tedesco.
Melbourne Storm hooker Brandon Smith will also miss Magic Round after he copped a one match ban for a shoulder charge on Rabbitoh Damien Cook.
