NRL Team Update: Round 18

Wests Tigers Coach Michael Maguire has updated his 19-man squad to take on the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday.

James Roberts will drop out of the squad after he didn't travel with the team to Brisbane — replaced in the centres by young gun Tommy Talau.

Talau joins a new-look backline that includes recent recruit Ken Maumalo and debutant centre Junior Pauga — one of two debutants set to take on the Broncos after Tuki Simpkins was also included on the interchange bench.

Adam Doueihi will partner Luke Brooks in the halves with Moses Mbye shifting to the bench alongside Simpkins, Joe Ofahengaue and Alex Twal.

Thomas Mikaele has been named at lock for the first time in his career while Stefano Utoikamanu starts in at prop after his time with the Blues Origin squad.

Michael Chee Kam and Alex Seyfarth remain in the side as reserves.

For the Broncos, Origin representative Xavier Coates has been rested with Jamayne Isaako returning to the side on the wing. Corey Paix also drops out of the squad with Jesse Arthars included on the bench with Ethan Bullemor as 18th Man.

Both teams will confirm their lineups one hour prior to kickoff (3:05pm, Sunday).
