Steeden provides fans with opportunity to meet favourite Wests Tigers players

Wests Tigers were pleased to partner with Steeden to give three lucky fans the chance to virtually meet their favourite players.

Wests Tigers stars Luciano Leilua and Luke Brooks, as well as club legend John Skandalis, jumped on a Zoom call to catch up with passionate fans, Chloe Jones, Hugh Wallace and Michael Bowers.

Zoom calls with Wests Tigers players — thanks to Steeden!

As well as having an in-depth chat, covering a range of topics — including favourite jerseys, memorable moments and rugby league history — the Wests Tigers players had the opportunity of presenting the three fans with 2021 Wests Tigers jerseys as gifts — thanks to Steeden.

The fans also wore their favourite Wests Tigers jersey during the Zoom call and discussed what they liked about the current Steeden home, away, women in league and Anzac strips.

Wests Tigers are excited to continue its partnership with Steeden, with a great range of 2022 merchandise to be released shortly.

One of the lucky fans was overwhelmed by the experience:

“Just wanted to say thanks to yourselves and the club, and particularly Luke [Brooks] for the Zoom call this afternoon. Appreciate it was challenging to co-ordinate and thanks for your persistence to make it happen (it would have been pretty easy to say it was too hard). Hugh said he really enjoyed the session and the chance to get Luke's perspectives on defensive structures and block plays, talk a bit of footy and just to have a conversation with Luke as a person. Hugh also took a bit of heart that himself and Luke both had pretty serious similar injuries that cost them both a year or two out of footy. Thanks again and see you at Leichhardt or Campbelltown whenever crowds are allowed back. Thanks Steeden for the jersey!”
