After earning their third win of the season against the Bulldogs, Wests Tigers have turned their attention to Saturday’s clash against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Accor Stadium.
The match will form part of the NRL’s Indigenous Round and both teams will be wearing specially designed jerseys inspired by First Nations’ art and storytelling.
In welcome news for Michael Maguire, Daine Laurie (Knee) and Luke Brooks (Hamstring) are both set to make their return to the starting line-up.
To accommodate Laurie’s return, Starford To’a will shift into the centres with Asu Kepaoa returning from COVID on the wing.
Jake Simpkin has been selected to replace Jacob Liddle at hooker, while David Nofoaluma has been named on the extended bench and remains a chance of making his return from a concussion.
For South Sydney, Cameron Murray and Mark Nicholls have both been named to make their return from injury.
The two sides met at CommBank Stadium just five weeks ago, where Wests Tigers emerged victorious by a single point.
