Judiciary: Fainu accepts early plea

Wests Tigers forward Samuela Fainu has accepted an early guilty plea for a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge arising from Sunday’s 18-16 victory over the Warriors in the NRL Pre-season Challenge.

The incident occurred just before half time in Christchurch when Fainu was making a tackle on Warriors forward Jacob Laban.

Fainu has taken the early guilty plea which carries a $1000 fine.  He will be available for selection for Saturday's Pre-season Challenge match against the Dragons in Mudgee.
