Wests Tigers are delighted to announce that NRLW Captain Kezie Apps has re-signed with the club until the end of 2029.

The Wests Tigers, NSW and Jillaroos great is a true pioneer of the women’s game, making her state and Test debuts in 2014, years before the introduction of the NRLW competition.
Her impact on women’s sport is immense, having spoken publicly about the need for more support, resources and recognition for the female game prior to the NRLW being established.
The 2016 Dally M Medal winner, Apps joined the Wests Tigers NSW Women’s Premiership team ahead of the 2022 season, helping them to premiership victory in her debut season with the club.

One of the first genuine stars of the NRLW, Apps has been one of the premier players in the competition since its maiden season in 2018, playing 29 matches and scoring seven tries.
She has also represented NSW in 12 State of Origin matches and played 19 matches for the Jillaroos.

With the introduction of the Wests Tigers NRLW side in 2023, she was appointed as the club’s inaugural co-captain, and her leadership has proved invaluable during their first two seasons.

Apps’ performances at state and international level have also been of an extremely high standard throughout her career, and as a NSW and Jillaroos mainstay, she remains one of the premier forwards in the game.
Kezie will also be employed by Wests Tigers and engage in the club's bespoke Leadership Development Program, developing her into an influential and effective leader across rugby league.
Wests Tigers will provide her with comprehensive opportunities to build and apply leadership, business, and operational expertise to ensure her post-football career journey is meaningful and fulfilling.

Apps spoke with pride when discussing her contract extension with the club.
"This club has felt like home from the moment I arrived," said Apps.
"I’m proud to re-sign and be part of something that’s building so strongly.
"We have a great group of girls, a passionate fan base, and a vision I truly believe in.
I’m excited for what’s ahead and honoured to keep wearing the Wests Tigers jersey.

"Her leadership, professionalism and care for those around her set the standard for what we want to build at this club.
