The Wests Tigers are excited to confirm that utility Faythe Manera has re-signed with the Club for a further two seasons.
A former Australian Sevens representative, Manera has made a big impression since joining the Tigers in 2025, with her ability to play in the halves, fullback, centre and hooker.
Manera had a standout 2026 season, scoring eight tries in 10 games, alongside four try assists and five line-break assists.
The 23-year-old scored a hat-trick in the Tigers Round 2 win over the Cowboys, as well as match-clinching tries against the Dragons and the Warriors.
The confirmation of Manera’s re-signing comes after she was recognised by her peers as the NRLW’s best impact player in the RLPA’s 2026 Players’ Dream Team.
A favourite amongst her teammates, Members and fans; Manera embodied her nickname ‘ruthless’ throughout the 2026 campaign – impressing Head Coach, Craig Sandercock with her attitude to her training, preparation and play.
Despite her season ending early with an ACL injury in Round 10, Manera said she was excited about the 2027 ahead at Concord.
“Being part of this team has been amazing and I’m excited about the direction we’re heading under Sandy – he’s had such a big impact on my game this year,’’ Manera said.
“I’m grateful to be playing alongside such amazing players here at the Tigers, who continue to help me grow and develop as a player.
“We’re building something special here, and I’m going to do everything I can this off-season to get back on the field as soon as possible.”
NRLW Head Coach, Craig Sandercock was full of praise for Manera and her contribution to his squad.
"We’re really pleased to have Faythe with us for another two seasons, she’s been fantastic for our group this year,” Sandercock said.
“Faythe’s attitude to her footy and her willingness to learn and improve is a credit to her.
“She’s embraced every challenge that’s come her way and thrown herself at it and she’s reaped the rewards with the quality of her performances.
“I think she’s only just scratched the surface of what she’s capable of, which is exciting for all of us here at the Tigers.”
Sandercock said Manera would continue to have support from the Club while undergoing rehab from ACL surgery during the off-season.
“A really tough end to the season for Faythe going down with injury, but her surgery has gone well and she’s in good spirits,” added Sandercock.
“She’s an incredibly hard worker and I know she’ll be putting everything into her rehab, and we’ll be supporting her every step of the way ahead of the 2027 pre-season.”
