Wests Tigers Pathways Representatives Selected for City v Country Weekend

The Wests Tigers are pleased to announce that nine of the Club’s junior representative players have earned selection for their respective NSW City and Country squads, with fixtures to be held this weekend.

The achievement is a reflection of the Wests Tigers ongoing commitment to junior development, as well as the effort and devotion of Club staff, coaches, players, and their families alike.

The boys' contests will take place on Saturday, 16 May at Brookvale Oval, while the girls’ will be held on Sunday, 17 May at WIN Stadium.

The selections follow the success of the Wests Tigers Pathways squads during their junior representative seasons, with four members of the Lisa Fiaola squad that advanced to Finals Week 2 picked to represent the City U17s Girls.

Four players from the U16s & U18s Macarthur Wests Tigers squads that took out their respective Andrew Johns Cup and Laurie Daley Cup competitions, were also selected for their respective Country U16s & U18s Boys squads, including Bryce Blatch who will be captaining the Country U16s side.

Monson Hopoate also earns selection in the City U16s Boys side after a strong season in the Harold Matthews Cup for the Western Suburbs Magpies.
