The match at Carrington Park kicks off at 6.30pm and will feature a combined Wests Tigers side featuring players from the NRL, NSW Cup and NYC squads.

Exciting young full-back James Tedesco will make a long awaited return to the field when he lines up for a combined Wests Tigers side at Bathurst on Friday night.


Tedesco has been named at full-back to play Penrith Panthers at Carrington Park Sportsground at 6.30pm. Both clubs will field combined sides made up of players from the NRL, NSW Cup and NYC squads.

For Tedesco, the match marks his first game since suffering a season ending knee injury in his NRL debut against Cronulla at Leichhardt Oval in round one last season.


New recruits in back-rower Bodene Thompson and centre Rory Brien will make their first appearance for Wests Tigers. Five-eighth Sean Meaney and centre Tim Simona are the only other players in the Wests Tigers side with NRL experience.


Eight players from the 2012 Wests Tigers NYC premiership winning team will play their first senior game in David Nofoaluma, Asipeli Fine, Joel Luani, Mosese Fotuaika, Inno Inosesio, Soni Paasi, Sauaso Sue and Sitaleki Akauola.


Promising half Luke Brooks has been given an opportunity at half-back after impressing NRL Head Coach Mick Potter during pre-season training. Brooks is yet to play an NYC game after playing SG Ball for Balmain Tigers last season.
