Wests Tigers and Tim Sheens have today come to a mutually acceptable and confidential resolution of their dispute.
Both parties are pleased to have reached a resolution.
Wests Tigers Chairman, Mike Bailey, stated that Tim Sheens will always be regarded by the Club, its players and supporters as part of its foundation fabric having coached at the Club for over 11 years and steering the Club to its inaugural Premiership.
"Tim developed and nurtured a vast talent pool into some of the League's front line players. He was instrumental in the Club's success and harnessed talent such as Benji Marshall, Robbie Farah, Aaron Woods and a host of others."
Mr Bailey reiterated that the Club and its players valued Mr Sheens as a Coach and figurehead and that the decision to move to a new Coach was about a need to regenerate and had nothing to do with alleged discontent amongst the players.
Mr Bailey said that "Tim has a proven track record and would be an asset to any club. He will always be revered at the Club, though he has moved on."
Mr Sheens said "I am pleased to have the dispute resolved and to put the matter behind me".
