Wests Tigers fullback James Tedesco has been voted by his teammates as the NRL Players’ Player for season 2017 at the Club’s Presentation Night this evening.

The representative fullback took out the award ahead of finalists Elijah Taylor and David Nofoaluma after another strong season that saw him score or assist a total of 13 tries.

Playing 21 of a possible 24 games this year, the Camden Rams junior finished with more tackle breaks (172) than any player in the competition this year, while also ranking inside the top 10 for run metres (3677m) and offloads (34) throughout season 2017.
