Wests Tigers winger David Nofoaluma will become just the third winger to reach 100 NRL games for the club when he takes to the field at ANZ Stadium this Friday.

There were some doubts surrounding the milestone match for Nofoaluma when he was taken off with concussion in last week's win over South Sydney, but the 24-year-old was confident he'd be right to go this week as his side looks to make it three wins in a row against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

"Obviously it was a pretty bad knock but I felt good the next day," Nofoaluma said.

"I went and played 18 holes of golf the next day and lead the team song after the game, so I think I'm good.

"I'm fine today so I just need to get through captains run tomorrow to get my 100th game.

"I'm very excited [for the milestone]. It's taken six years but I'm really excited for the achievement.

"I think the highlight of my career is the team I'm a part of this year," he enthused.

"It's something that I cherish to be a part of and something that will only be better going forward."

Two big upsets over the Dragons and Rabbitohs has kept Wests Tigers in the hunt for a top eight finish with six games remaining in the regular season, with the inclusion of Robbie Farah and Moses Mbye in to the squad crucial in helping Ivan Cleary's side back on track. Nofoaluma said their presence had been noted in the past few weeks, but also credited the work his side had done since the start of the year.

"They've been good for us and Robbie in particular has come in at a good time," Nofoaluma said.

"This team has been working hard since pre-season. I think it's a team thing — those guys coming in do add value — but overall we're a team that works well together and that's what we base ourselves around.

"One thing that we want to focus on is executing the things we've been training on," he added.

"We want to make sure we're playing our game and when we do, when we're on top of everything, it pays off in the end as we've seen over the past two weeks with those good wins."
