Wests Tigers centre Robert Jennings has been named in the train-on squad for Tonga’s upcoming Test match against New Zealand at Mount Smart Stadium on June 22.
Jennings has been named in the initial squad by Tonga Coach Kristian Woolf following his appearance for Mate Ma'a in last year's Pacific Test against Samoa, where Jennings scored a try on debut to help Tonga to a 38-22 win.
The final Mate Ma’a Tonga team to face New Zealand will be named after this weekend’s NRL round concludes on Sunday evening.
