Match Report: Jersey Flegg Cup Round 11

Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg Cup side went down 24-12 to the Bulldogs on Friday, in a game where both teams were boosted by the inclusions of a number of regular Knock On Effect NSW Cup players.

After impressive fullback Jahream Bula crossed early at Leichhardt Oval, the Bulldogs hit back through Eli Clark and former Wests Tigers player Reece Hoffman, to take a 6-point lead into the break.

Hoffman scored his second shortly after the interval, before teenage winger Joseph Delle hit back for the home side.

However, Bayley Cox, one of many players who returned to Jersey Flegg Cup after long stints in the Knock On Effect NSW Cup, crossed late to secure the victory for Canterbury.

Wests Tigers take on Newcastle in a Top 4 clash next Saturday afternoon at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
