Here is a pre-Christmas injury update from Wests Tigers new Head of High-Performance Peter Moussa.

After missing the entire 2022 season, Shawn Blore is progressing through his ACL return to play protocols.

The 22-year-old forward signed a contract extension in September and is expected to be available for the start of the 2023 season.

Much like Blore, Tommy Talau is close to making a return from an ACL repair.

The 22-year-old outside back also extended his contract at the club and has recently returned to full team training for the first time. He too is expected to be available for the start of the 2023 season.

Alex Seyfarth has started ‘contact protocol’ after tearing a pectoral muscle late last season and is progressing well. He is expected to be available for the start of the season.

Ken Maumalo has returned to full team training this week after minor knee surgery and is expected to be available for Round 1.
