Wests Tigers Pathways Wrap: Lisa Fiaola conclude a strong campaign

This weekend, our Lisa Fiaola side concluded their strong 2026 season in the competition’s Finals Week Two, putting in an impressive effort at HE Laybutt Field.

Both our Knock-On Effect NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg sides had a bye but will return to action on Anzac Day to take on the Canberra Raiders at Lidcombe Oval.

Lisa Fiaola Cup vs Central Coast Roosters: 14-4 loss

Despite a strong defensive effort, the Roosters opened the scoring, crossing for two tries in the first 20 minutes down the left edge.

The Wests Tigers hit back through a 25-metre run from lock Olivia Large, who stormed past the Roosters defence to bring the score to 8-4 before halftime.

Latu Fifita’s side showed great determination, staying within a try of the Roosters for the majority of the second half.

However, they were unable to contain the Roosters, who eventually crossed with nine minutes remaining. A successful conversion extended the gap to ten points, with the match finishing 14-4.

There is still more female pathways action to come throughout the year, with our NSW Premiership side kicking off on Saturday, 13 June, and the ROAR and RISE development programs starting in June.
