Wests Tigers Intrust Super Premiership forward Tyler Cassel has been voted by his teammates as the 2016 Intrust Super Premiership Players’ Player of the Year.

Cassel featured heavily for Paul Stringer’s side in season 2016 — playing in the centres, back row or lock forward — and will feature in Sunday’s Elimination Final game.

The 21-year-old moved up to the Club’s Intrust Super Premiership side and full-time training in 2016 after two successful years in Wests Tigers Holden Cup side.

Cassel recorded five tries and 18 tackle breaks in the Intrust Super Premiership regular season this year, averaging 27 tackles and 54 metres per game as well.

Wests Tigers congratulate Tyler on his Intrust Super Premiership Player’s Player Award.
